Founded in 1923, we are Bristol’s largest amateur opera company – regularly presenting fully staged grand opera, complete with orchestra and sung in English.

Our Next Production
We’ll be bringing Smetana’s much-loved comic opera The Bartered Bride to Bristol in spring 2026.
